Hey, guys! I got off at 10:00 again today, so I am pretty bored right now. So bored, in fact, that I decided to record myself singing Tell Me what the Rain Knows by Mayaa Sakamoto. My voice sounds British when I sing, for some reason. Anyways, only four days until Christmas! Yay! My sister put my present under the tree, and I am so tempted to open it right now while she's not here. I wanna know what it is! It's heavy and rectangular, so I think it might be a hardcover book. Oh well. I'll just wait four more days and see what's inside on Christmas.
Violet's Flame is going to be a really good book. Everyone that has read Violet has fallen in love with my writing, so now I am more pumped than ever to get started on Violet's Flame. A lot of people have also asked me what got me started on Violet. I have decided that I will answer those questions on my blog right now. Here are the answers to some of the questions:
Q: Where did the idea for Violet come from?
A: It is actually a mixture of Maximum Ride by James Patterson, Firelight by Sophie Jordan, and Thirst (the Last Vampire) by Christopher Pike, only in my own words. I had the idea while watching Ultraviolet, so in honor of that, I named the main character Violet.
Q: How long did it take to write Violet?
A: If you don't count the vacation days, I would say it took about two months to write. And I didn't write all day; just when I felt like it.
Q: Do I write any other stories?
A: I do, but I almost never finish them because of a lack of motivation. The only reason I finished Violet was because my mom read it while I worked on it and told me that she wanted more of it.
That's all the questions I can think of to answer for now, but if you have a question about anything you want answered, leave it in the comment box and I'll get you the answer. I seem to have written a lot again, so I'll let you guys off the hook. See ya'll later!
